Standard Gripper – Dual (Short Pin)
This dual-purpose carpet gripper is suitable for both wooden and concrete subfloors, making it a reliable choice for domestic and contract installations. Each rod measures 75cm and is made from strong 5-ply plywood, 6.5mm deep and 20mm wide. The shorter length makes it especially practical for stair runners, where standard gripper sizes can be harder to manage.
A bevelled edge helps create a clean, precise finish at the carpet edge. The rods come pre-fitted with zinc-plated nails and galvanised short pins, giving strong and consistent hold under carpet tension. Designed for quick, secure fixing with minimal effort, it performs well on mixed subfloors and in tight or detailed areas.
Supplied in packs of 30 rods, it’s a compact and flexible option for fitters working across different floor types and layouts.
