Product Notes
Decorative stair rods are designed for use with securely fitted stair runners. Speak to a professional carpet fitter if unsure.
Rods fit runners up to 70 cm wide. They are not suitable for stairs with full width carpets.
You can shorten the rod using a metal hacksaw.
General screws are included. Depending on your staircase, you may need alternative screws from a trusted DIY supplier.
To clean, wipe with a damp cloth.
Fitting Instructions
1. Measure the width of your stair runner. Add 24 mm to get the correct rod length.
2. If the rod is too long, cut it down using a metal hacksaw.
3. Fix the first bracket to one side of the stair runner using the screws provided.
4. Slide the rod into the fitted bracket.
5. Position the second bracket on the other side of the rod in line with the stair recess.
6. Secure the second bracket using screws.
7. Check that the rod is fixed firmly and sits evenly across the runner.
